SHARP MINDS SHARPER THAN EVER....
Take a team of 27 pragmatic, seasoned veterans tasked with coordinating a mega-event. Sharp minds at work. Add to this group another 45 enthusiastic, bright young minds. Give this talented team the challenge of hosting an event that has only grown grander in scale year on year. What do you get? Sharper minds than ever resulting in Abhyudaya ‘08. 72 pairs of eyes have spent the last couple of months watching the midnight oil burn for many sleepless nights; planning, plotting and scheming to lay the out the arena to create one of the toughest battle fields for the top B-School contenders in India.
This year’s Abhyudaya is all about M & A’s. The theme for this year is BODMAS -Business of Division (De-merger) Multiplication (Diversification) Addition (Merger) Subtraction (Spin-offs). We offer a gamut of events designed to challenge every skill required to survive in the corporate world. For the marketing maniacs the 4D provides a platform to perform and for the HR heavy weights we have the 5P’s instead. For all the Finance and operations people out there, we have the X% stake and for the Jacks-of-all-trades we have the 360 degree panorama.
For all those of you with a love for the laptop and an eye for the obscure, we present our online treasure hunt- The I.E V 8.0. (IFMR Explorer Version 8.0), an event that can make the ordinary look bizarre and the extraordinary appear normal. Dare to go deep and yet not sink, venture far and yet not get lost. For every step you take, a new clue you will unearth to take you closer towards the elusive treasure. All you really need to emerge the victor in our contest is pirate Jack Sparrow’s Magic Compass, for it will point you to what you really want (but a quick finger on the mouse and a quicker wit might prove to be worthy substitutes).
So set sail, for at the world’s end a new one begins, and with every answer arises a new question. In this maze of mystery, only one person is destined to taste the sweet taste of success. Come try your luck (Eye-patches optional. Parrots welcome).
